HOW TO CORRECTLY MEASURE YOURSELF

Before buying clothing online, it is very important to know your body measurements. In this way, you can avoid wrong choices. It would be best if someone could help you. Stand straight, wear thin underwear. The tape has to be a little bit loose.

If after measuring, you can not find your exact size, or you can not find which size is best for you, wite us your measurements via e-mail (jakas@jakas.lt). You can write your measurements as a comment when completing the order by it we will select and send the clothing. Write us if you want to discuss most suitable model for you, sillhouette. MAIN MEASUREMENTS

Chest (a)

  • Wrap the tape measure around your chest. Bring it around your back so that the ends come together in front, across the widest part of your breasts.
  • Lower the arms
  • Leave your bra on. Since you'll be wearing a bra under the clothing you're getting measured for, the extra fabric of the bra should be included in your measurement.

Waist (b)

  • Place a tape measure around your body at the top of your hipbone. This is usually at the level of your belly button about 2,5 cm higher than your belt.
  • Do not measure it too tight so that you could breath.

Hips (c)

  • Hip measurements should be taken at where your hips are the widest. This is usually 17,5 cm from your waistline.

ADDITIONAL MEASUREMENTS

Shoulders (d)

  • Measured from one shoulder to another. Stand relaxed. Locate the shoulder points. These points are actually marked by your acromion bones, which can be found at the upper tips of your shoulders. These two points should also be the points at which the shoulder meets the arm or the points at which the shoulder begins curving down into the arm.

Arm width (e)

  • Wrap the tape measure around the largest part of your arm, typically around the peak of your bicep and tricep muscles.  It is important that it would be not too loose and not too tight.

Sleeve length (f)

  • It is measured from the shoulder. Relax shoulders.

Length (g)

  • Put the first end of the measuring tape at the base of your neck and measure down to the point where you’d want the clothing to end.
